Email,

Every July 5, we see what Independence Day celebration costs our beaches. Firework debris. Plastic cups. Broken chairs. Food wrappers. Single-use everything. It all gets buried in the sand or washes into the ocean.

For more than 20 years, Surfrider volunteers have been showing up the morning after to clean it up. This is our biggest volunteer moment of the year.

This year, we need you.

Find a cleanup near you, sign up, and bring your crew. One hour can make a massive difference.

JOIN A CLEANUP NEAR YOU

The beach doesn't clean itself. But when 2,000+ people show up with gloves and a positive attitude, it's amazing what we can do in a single morning.

See you on the sand,

Your Friends at the Surfrider Foundation

P.S. New to beach cleanups? No worries. These events are beginner-friendly, family-friendly, and a great way to meet people who care about the coast. Just show up.
