Chances are, one of your first experiences with the Surfrider Foundation was at a beach cleanup. Over the last 40 years, we’ve engaged hundreds of thousands of volunteers who have worked together to remove millions of pounds of trash from our beaches, coast to coast.

That’s why at Surfrider, we think of beach cleanups as the gateway to activism.
