In the men’s race, Ryan Montgomery was the top-performing Suunto athlete, finishing in third place with a time of 13:55:55 – nearly 16 minutes under the previous course record and 1 hour and 45 minutes faster than his previous personal best. This was Ryan’s fourth time racing Western States, his third time in the top 10, and his first podium here. Behind him, Zach Miller finished in 5th with a time of 14:40:09; Jeff Mogavero finished in 7th running 14:38:36; Will Murray Finished in 9th crossing the finish line in 15:23:12; and Jeshurun Small finished in 13th in 16:27:25. |
On the women’s side, Jennifer Lichter was crowned the 2026 Western States Endurance Run® champion, running a time of 15:28:05 – a minute and a half under the previous course record. Not only was this Jenn’s first attempt at Western States, but it was also her 100-mile debut. She led the race from the Devil’s Thumb aid station at mile 47.8 all the way to the finish line in Auburn, California. Following Jenn’s lead, Tara Dower finished in 6th with a time of 16:13:07; Fiona Pascall finished in 8th crossing the line in 16:32:05; and Hau Ha finished in 9th running 16:40:38. We owe a huge round of applause to our incredible team of Suunto athletes for their performances this weekend. We are so proud of their accomplishments and cannot wait to continue this adventure together. |
