Last week marked the beginning of a new chapter for us.

At the iconic Boston Marathon, Suunto officially stepped onto the road running stage for the first time, bringing our athletes, our technology, and our community to one of the sport’s most prestigious and demanding courses.

 From Hopkinton to Boylston, our athletes tackled every mile with purpose. Disciplined training, smart pacing, and race-day execution came together on a course that rewards both strategy and resilience.

Five athletes represented Suunto in Boston, each delivering a strong performance on one of the world’s most iconic marathon stages:

Zouhair Talbi

Official time: 2:03:45
5th place overall, and the fastest marathon ever run by an American over 26.2 miles

Clayton Young
Official time: 2:05:41

11th place, with a major personal best after returning from an ankle injury that disrupted his buildup

CJ Albertson
Official time: 2:09:59
27th place, and a gritty performance after a challenging build-up

Boston is bigger than 26.2 miles.

Throughout the weekend, we connected with runners from around the world - hosting shakeout runs, hearing from Team Stamata athletes, and giving the community a chance to experience Suunto firsthand.

It wasn’t just an introduction. It was a statement.
