Hello Andy,

Thank you for joining our efforts to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin. Thanks to our community and neighbors like you, we made huge strides towards that goal last year:

• 59% of pantries are now farmer’s market-style or hybrid distributions
• Distributed more than 70% fresh fruits and vegetables to our neighbors
• 95% of participants worry less about running out of food, thanks to the Food Bank

This work goes beyond just food. Together with our partners, we are connecting tens of thousands of neighbors to weekly groceries, CalFresh benefits, and other services they need to thrive. Watch the video below to learn more about the power of our Food Bank community.

Despite these great strides, we know our community is still hurting from stubborn inflation, the steep cost of living, and the rollback of critical safety net programs. As we look to the future, we remain focused on meeting the immediate need of our community, while advocating for holistic policy solutions that address the root causes of hunger.

Our work isn't done — but I know that together, our collective action is powerful.
