The Trump administration is hellbent on silencing unfavorable journalism, cracking down on dissent, and denying our right to speak out and protest peacefully. People are being intimidated, targeted, thrown into prison, and even killed.

The July 4th holiday this past weekend didn’t exactly feel like a celebratory moment. But the power of this country is in its people. That’s why our work — and your role in it — is so essential.

Our grassroots support ensures that we can be an effective and independent watchdog, leading the charge against President Trump’s anti-rights agenda.

We’re calling on you now — the more we lose our freedom of expression, the more we lose an essential way to hold the government, political leaders, and other authorities and institutions accountable.
