Orchid is a collaboration. Every person putting it through a writing session, a gig, a studio day — they're shaping what it becomes.

We regularly release new firmware based on what we hear back from people playing Orchid out in the world.

Here’s just a few of the things that changed in our latest firmware releases:

Loops got better. You can save them now. And if you're mid-loop on a gig and need to get out fast, you can. A hard cut.

New sounds to work with. We augmented the chord options with some Secret Chords and added new patterns for building and saving Sounds. In the latest firmware release you’ll find 10 new Sounds, all designed by Kevin Parker.

All the small things. You can select a Key even quicker than before. Bass behaviour is improved. And there's now a visual display showing exactly where your voicing split sits.

And it’s not just the firmware that’s improved. We sent our Technical Director Tom Cosm to the factory to make sure that every Orchid ships right.
