Everyone hates a self-promoter on LinkedIn. At least that’s what our Bartleby columnist told the world, flogging his last piece of work recently…on LinkedIn. Everyone does it, even columnists, but that doesn’t make this genre of solo horn-playing any less grating on the ears.
Speaking of men who enjoy the sound of their own horn, Elon Musk is set to receive a pay package of unprecedented size. Over three-quarters of Tesla’s shareholders backed the deal, which would grant Mr Musk shares worth up to $1trn if he hits various targets over ten years. The package, says our correspondent, shows the extent to which Mr Musk has the company wrapped around his finger. |
