The publication this week of “Original Sin”, a book about Joe Biden’s failing health, has American politicos agonising about how on earth he thought he should run for president again. Its arrival at the same time as Mr Biden’s cancer diagnosis makes this story all the more melancholy. Really, though, it is an indictment of
America’s political parties and press,
which failed to say what most people could see with their own eyes.
