Nothing goes in to make manufacturing easier, or to preserve the formula.

Just plant oils, butters and essential oils, doing the job they do best when they're left 100% natural.

Water

Most skincare formulas contain water. Water needs preservatives to stop it growing bacteria. We build our skincare without it.

Sulfates

The reason most cleansers foam up so dramatically. They're effective at stripping oil, including the oil your skin needs to keep.

Phthalates

Often the hidden ingredient behind a fragrance that lasts all day, legally hidden behind the word "fragrance".

Microplastics

Tiny plastic beads used as a cheap exfoliant filler in scrubs. They wash straight into waterways, where they don't break down.

Petrolatum & paraffin

Petroleum-derived, occlusive, and common in lip balms and creams that need to feel instantly smooth.

Synthetic dyes

The easiest way to make a product look a certain colour, regardless of what's actually inside it.
