Your airport may have this hidden perk

In case you missed it, we recently shared some great news for anyone who likes being on the fast track through airport security.

The rapidly expanding TSA PreCheck Touchless ID program — which uses facial recognition technology so you can skip face time with an agent — is now a lot easier to sign up for and use.

Touchless ID is now integrated with Google Wallet, streamlining the experience in a big way.

This means you no longer have to go through a tedious enrollment process with each airline you fly.

I think Touchless ID and other new biometric screening options are some of the greatest advancements we’ve seen in air travel in the last few years. And while it’s still only available at certain airports, the list is growing.

I frequently fly out of Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), where even the TSA PreCheck and Clear lines are often long. But with Touchless ID, I’ve been able to bypass the line and breeze through a special screening lane instead.

The best part? There’s no additional cost to use this service. You just need to be a TSA PreCheck or Global Entry member — which can also cost you nothing!

If you aren’t enrolled in either program, there are lots of credit cards that will cover your application fee. (Seriously, look. You may already have one and not know it!)

And check whether Touchless ID is available at your airport. You could save a lot of time and frustration before your next flight.
