Good morning, Andy!
In Chika Unigwe’s new short story, ‘Good News’, the protagonist, Afuajuba, stands at an open freezer on her late husband’s birthday, holding the last container of stew he ever made. It is a small, ordinary moment that also carries the tenderness of a man who cooked as an act of love, the betrayal that was unravelling their marriage, and the grief that followed.
The good news is that you can read it here and can own a copy by purchasing our latest issue here.
