For the first time since 2021, deer are back in Greenwich Park. A new herd of eight fallow deer is settling into a newly renovated paddock, now with access to nearby woodland and enhanced wildflower planting to support local wildlife. They might be shy at first, but keep an eye out - you may spot them soon!
Richmond Park's Petersham Playground has been renovated to inspire children to connect with nature through wildlife-friendly features such as bird boxes and bug hotels. Better paths, new seating and new planting schemes have created a more relaxing natural location for play.
A new two-acre garden is taking shape in The Regent’s Park to commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II. It’s due to open in 2026, to mark what would have been the late Queen's centenary year. Work is well underway, with paths being laid, a wildlife-friendly pond forming, and more than 200,000 bulbs and 40 trees on the way.
