In the spirit of dialogue and democracy, Brown Votes is hosting a community forum for candidates to express their vision and values.
Join Brown Votes for an open-to-the-public Providence Mayoral Candidate Forum. On Wednesday, April 22, from 7-9 p.m., candidates for the 2026 Providence Mayoral Election will attend a student-led, student-moderated candidate forum. Doors open at 6:30.
The forum will be structured in two phases. Phase 1 will include a set of pre-selected questions from our team of nonpartisan student moderators. Phase 2 of the forum will include pre-submitted questions from students, attendees and the general public.
This event is open to all, but advance registration is required. In-person attendees will need to show proof of registration and present an ID prior to entry. No large bags are permitted at this event; small bags are allowed but are subject to searching prior to entry. This event is also available online.
