THE CONSTRUCTION

Simply stitching a button is not enough for the endurance we expect from our shirts. Instead, every mother-of-pearl button is first securely lock-stitched to the cotton. Then, in a separate, specialised procedure, these threads are tightly 'whipped' to create a solid shank beneath the button.

THE ENDURANCE

As a final, invisible step, those whipped stitches are heat-sealed firmly in place. This technically complex finish provides extraordinary strength, ensuring the button remains secure for the entire lifespan of the shirt. It is an unseen detail, but a vital one—because you have better things to worry about than a loose button.
