At Tico Coffee Roasters, our mission has always gone beyond coffee. We believe in building community, creating meaningful connections, and showing up for the places we call home. And this season, we’re inviting you to be part of that impact.
We’re partnering with Veggielution—a local nonprofit dedicated to bringing people together through food, farming, and culture in East San José. Our CEO, Mariana, has served on the Board of Directors of this non-profit for the past 6 years.
Join us on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, for a morning of hands-on volunteering, connection, and purpose.
You’ll spend the day outdoors working alongside an incredible community. Activities vary based on the farm’s needs and may include:
Planting 🌱 Harvesting 🥕 Weeding Greenhouse work
No experience needed—just a willingness to show up and get your hands a little dirty.
Here’s what to know: - Spots are limited: Only 10 volunteers for the Tico Team
- Start time: 9:00 AM
- Arrive early: Come at 8:30 AM for a fresh, hot cup of Tico coffee ☕
- What to bring: Hat, long sleeves, comfortable work shoes, sunscreen, and plenty of water
This is more than volunteering—it’s a chance to slow down, connect, and contribute to something meaningful alongside like-minded people.
