💫 What is your role & what do you hope to contribute to Tico?
My role is a barista here at Tico's café on wheels :-)
I look forward to contributing my passion for people and service. A good cup of coffee is made perfect with a genuine smile and a warm heart behind every cup.
💫 Which one of Tico's values do you connect with the most (empower, protect, or nourish)?
I connect with all three values and believe that we can empower & protect our next generation by nourishing their hopes and dreams and being the best example of sustainability while caring for the world around us. Our younger generation is watching our actions, not our words. One cup at a time, we can be the change we want to see today for their tomorrow.
💫 What is your signature "Rachel" drink?
I don't have one yet, but I'd love to learn to make our cocoflan cold brew. I just tasted this morning, and it was the most amazing drink I've ever tasted! My favorite beans are Sangre de Toro, they offer the bold flavor I enjoy and the smooth balance I have come to appreciate from our specialty quality!
💫 Give a fun fact about yourself!
Fun fact about me, I enjoy kayaking off the Northern California Coast, in the crystal clear waters of the Smith River between the Giant Redwoods and the Roosevelt Elk. Heaven on earth.
