Dear Wine Lover, Have you ever heard of Ornellaia? What about Sassicaia? Or Tignanello? These are names of Super Tuscans that send collectors’ pulses racing. They’re also selections that send wine lovers reaching deep into their pockets, with prices of each stretching well into the hundreds. But what if we told you we had something just as delicious, just as special, for as little as $29.99 a bottle? Thanks to relationships formed by Leo, our on-the-ground Italian wine expert, we’ve made the seemingly impossible, possible. |

We’ve secured a small allocation of an incredible Cab Sauvignon called Le Fughe. From the family-run Molino di Sant’Antimo winery and the challenging yet rewarding 2022 vintage, it was just awarded 91 points from critic James Suckling.
And, with this limited-time presale, you can secure your own case of six or 12 with just a small deposit for delivery in July.

What makes this wine as good as those famously pricey selections? |
Established in the 1980s by Carlo Vittori, Molino di Sant’Antimo sits at the heart of the sundrenched Val d’Orcia—one of Italy’s most desirable areas. This is Brunello’s final frontier, and for most, it’s Sangiovese country. But through in-depth soil analysis, the Vittori family identified one site particularly well-suited to Cabernet, from which they believed the grape could “carry the soul of Montalcino,” says Carlo. Today, the property has expanded to just under 100 acres, with only 27 of those dedicated to vineyards—woodlands, olive groves and Mediterranean bush cover the rest. Everything is farmed organically and methodically. |
“In this corner of Montalcino, Cabernet has the ideal environment to enhance its distinctive strong structure, fruit and spice,” says Carlo’s daughter Giulia. (His other daughter, Valeria, shown above, is the estate’s winemaker.)
Though 2022 was particularly hot and dry, the family’s vines resisted heat stress valiantly. “The grapes’ flavor became concentrated, and their sustained acidity promised freshness,” says Giulia.

This means that, while Le Fughe is already a perennial favorite of critics, this release promises to be especially enticing. When the wine arrives next month, we’ll have just 500 cases to go around. Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to reserve your share of a uniquely Tuscan Cabernet. |
