Thanks to the support of people like you, TPL was able to protect over 3,000 stunning acres of Haskill Basin in Montana. Now, it’s permanently preserved for recreation, wildlife, and clean water supply.

We know from our decades of expertise that land protection is one of the most effective ways to bring the community together. We worked with the city of Whitefish to give residents a direct voice in the future of Haskill Basin, and an overwhelming 84% of voters approved the funds to protect it permanently. 

These local, voter-backed victories are one of our strongest defenses against shifting federal policies. When public lands are on the ballot, voters consistently choose nature and climate resilience.
