Black History Month officially ends tomorrow, but we’re still falling short of our goal to raise $20,000 and support HBCUs as they cultivate future leaders. This is a REAL problem because UNCF is on the front line of ensuring as many talented, deserving students can get to and through college—many of them attending HBCUs. |
HBCUs and Black history are inseparable. For over a century, these institutions have educated leaders like the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., spawned world-changing political movements, and equipped countless other Black leaders with the skills and confidence they need to succeed and lift up our communities. |
Today, UNCF works to support HBCUs, provide life-changing opportunities for bright students and cultivate the future of Black excellence and American leadership. |
But many barriers stand in the way of students today, including new and significant cuts to federal Pell Grants and limits to Parent PLUS loans. UNCF needs your help to ensure that exceptional students can pursue success and that HBCUs continue to serve as foundational institutions for all Americans. |
