Friend,
School’s out, and summer adventures are calling. But for thousands of students, the work of building their future is just getting started.
While classrooms may be empty, students are preparing applications, participating in leadership programs, exploring careers, building professional skills and getting ready for the next chapter of their education.
But for many, this future remains uncertain without your support. That’s why our summer goal to raise $50,000 before midnight on July 31 is so crucial as we continue to award more scholarships to students attending more than 600 colleges and universities across the country, including our prestigious network of 36 HBCUs.
Will you make a gift before our July 31 deadline to help more students access the education, opportunities and support they need to thrive? |
Brooklyn Luckett from Denver, CO, grew up in a financially unstable environment and wasn’t sure whether she would be able to attend the colleges she dreamed of. But through UNCF, she was awarded three scholarships.
Because of your support for UNCF, Brooklyn is majoring in engineering with a concentration in chemistry at Clark Atlanta University. Today, she is able to invest time in her classes, take care of her mental health and stay engaged in campus life without the pressure of worrying about how she’s going to fund her education.
With your support, we can ensure that more bright students like Brooklyn pursue a college education and enter the professional world with the knowledge and skills that they need. UNCF has helped more than 550,000 students earn their college degrees since its founding, and we’re not slowing down.
But to continue this work, we’re counting on your help to meet our critical summer goal.
Every gift helps ensure another talented student has the opportunity to learn, lead and thrive—not just during the school year, but all year long. |
