Meeting With More Than 25 Key Congressional Offices to Advocate for UNICEF Funding
UNICEF USA supporters from across the country were in Washington, D.C., this month to deliver an urgent message to Congress: our nation’s investment in UNICEF both supports the world’s children and strengthens our communities at home. Thank you to all who joined us in person and took action online — we're just getting started. Right now, Congress is deciding on next year's budget, and children continue to need your voice. Whether you've already taken action or not, you can still influence U.S. policy.

More Than a Million Displaced by Conflict in Lebanon
In just weeks, more than 1.1 million people in Lebanon — including over 390,000 children — have been forced from their homes by escalating violence. Displacement is overwhelming already strained systems, leaving children without reliable access to health care, safe water, education and protection. UNICEF is scaling up its response, delivering emergency supplies, expanding health services, supporting water systems and creating safe spaces where children can find stability.

Thirty years ago, Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) revolutionized the treatment of child wasting, one of the most life-threatening forms of malnutrition, and marked one of the greatest public health nutrition achievements in history. Today, UNICEF delivers nearly 825 million RUTF sachets each year, helping more than 5.5 million children worldwide while expanding access to treatment and investing in prevention.

A 12-Year-Old's Hope Endures in Gaza
While conflict has disrupted daily life for 12-year-old Fatima in Gaza, she continues to brighten her home with small decorations and learn in a tent classroom alongside her peers. With support from UNICEF and its partners, children like Fatima are accessing safe spaces, education and essential services that help them build resilience and move forward. Her story is a reminder that even in the most difficult circumstances, children continue to find ways to adapt and rebuild.
