We’ve taken a peek in our crystal ball to see what’s coming up later in the summer so cue the twinkly music and mysterious fog: first up is Ridley Scott’s new magnum opus The Dog Stars, in which Jacob Elordi hunts for humanity in a post-apocalyptic hellscape. Then at the opposite end of the spectrum we have One Night Only, a romcom set in a world where single people can only hook up on one night in the year and wouldn’t you know it, Monocle Barbaro and Callum Turner find each other just then.
Swinging wildly off in yet another direction, it’s Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie: those heroic pups find themselves on a dinosaur-infested island fighting to save everyone from an extinction level event involving Mayor Humdinger and a volcano. And then back on a sci-fi bent, The End of Oak Street asks what if your road was ripped from suburbia and transplanted somewhere ~else~? Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor are about to find out.
