For many years Tahmina walked long distances to collect water for her family. The chore was time-consuming and for the new mom, physically difficult.

Through Water.org's financial partner in Bangladesh, Tahmina was able to get a small loan to fund the construction of a toilet and water connection in her home. Tahmina shared that, with access to safe water at home, not only is her family healthy, "Now I can play with my son and give him quality time."
