The opening match of the home summer for England Men was marked by a 115-run victory against New Zealand in the First Rothesay Test of the series, secured by a fantastic bowling performance.

Debutant Emilio Gay also impressed with a crucial 57 runs in his second innings, becoming the first batter to score a half-century on Test debut at home since Sir Andrew Strauss.
