Brand, it’s matchday as the Hammers return to Barclays Women’s Super League action with a trip to Kingsmeadow to face Chelsea this afternoon.

The fixture marks the first game in charge for new Head Coach Rita Guarino, who has been impressed by the desire, quality and fighting spirit shown by the squad since returning to training following the Christmas break.

The Italian becomes the first from her country to take charge in the Barclays WSL and will be looking to start her journey with the Irons on a positive note against the reigning champions.
