Did you know that Wimp is Liam's and my side job? It's a thing we are doing when we're not building stuff for clients in his case, or building a brand, site, and new direction for my employer (Ghost).
I say that, because this week, I'm tucked into that work and have a little less time than normal to pump out a newsletter. Plus it's an exercise in telling me inner critic to chill the fuck out. He thinks I'm a lazy ass, ADHD-ridden, forget-everything, lose-my-keys, kind of dumbo. Bro needs to drink more decaf.
In place of a missive, here's an update on what we're doing at Wimp, and things we're thinking about. If you have any questions, we'd love to answer them.

We're nearly ready to launch our Wimp Welcome Pack. 3 4oz sizes of our coffees at a much more reasonable price for folks just getting started. Easier on the wallet. Happy for the mouth.
We're moving our newsletter over to Ghost, and we're thinking of doing two. One like this one, links and a few other goodies, and one that's more about building a little coffee business. Should be fun times.
We're shoring up our logistics and ops. Every chance that we get we're looking for ways to automate small things so that we can use our limited brain space for better things, like remembering to eat lunch.
We're looking for new grocery chains and cafes who want to use Wimp in their space. Retail or bulk beans both! If you know of a cafe or grocery store that you have a relationship with, let us know!

A Bookmark / Karl Book Marx. @seanart.nz carved a linocut print of Karl Marx and called it BOOK MARX. This is legendary dad work. He should be applauded. Carving is dope. The pun is criminally good.
A Laugh / Jokes, just take one. This is the kind of weird analog the world needs more of. Somebody mounted a take-a-number ticket dispenser on a tree and filled it with printed jokes. Public service achieved.
A Habit / Drawing repition. There's an illustrator named
@peteclayton whose whole project is drawing one object many different ways. A hand. A moka pot. A coffee cup. He calls it "playing and experimenting." I've been practicing too. It's a fun exercise.
A Word Thing / Pen pal postcards. Bo Feng Lin draws for Vogue, Procreate, and HarperCollins. He wants to move to Tokyo. So he started a monthly mail club. You get a postcard, a sticker, a page from his sketchbook, a personal letter, and your name in a raffle for one of his originals.
A Tracker / Into oceanic life? Follow your faves. If you love ocean stuff and the stuff in them, you'll want to check this out. You can find and follow all kinds of tagged sea creatures. The world is cool.

A light, smooth Ethiopian roast that tastes like blueberries and milk chocolate had a baby. Chemical-free decaf process, organic farm, and named after the farmer who rebuilt the whole thing from wildfire ash.
*We don't name coffees after people lightly. This one earned it.
