This week I posted
a video on Wimp’s Instagram where I basically admit (again) that I’m still learning how to be a limited, non-robot human. I was in NYC tagging along with my sugar-mama wife (she’s a legend), and somewhere between subway transfers and ego inflation, I touched the wrong handle and got sick. Boo!
That one microscopic decision led to two weeks of low energy, low output, and the high-def realization that I’ve been tying my worth to how much I get done. Then I found myself spiraling over a spreadsheet (like actual identity crisis) over google sheets. Because apparently if I can’t master inventory management, I’m unfit to run a business or be allowed carry scissors.
But here’s the thing: living the decaf life isn’t about “getting it right.” It’s about catching ourselves (and each other gently) when we fall into shame spirals and reminding ourselves that the screw-ups, the weird choices, the overcooked moments... they’re what make us relatable to everyone else. They make us human. This is where our good stories come from.
We don’t have to perfect calm to live decaf. Sometimes we’re gonna suck at it, and then accept even that, limitations and all.
But let's be real, spreadsheets can go absolutely go #$@! themselves. Also, the cool art from above is from
this dope instagram account collecting neons.

A Seesaw / We all need more play A seesaw for grownups—Martin Binder’s
Balance Bench in Germany is a public artwork that only works when people cooperate. It tilts unless two people sit in balance, inviting playful interaction while quietly asking: how do we share space now, post-pandemic?

A Music / Face melting beautiful chorale music: Christopher Tin’s “Waloyo Yamoni (We Overcome the Wind)” is a soaring choral finale sung in Lango—a rainmaking prayer turned symphonic triumph. Performed in London with full orchestra and global choirs, it’s a reminder of music’s power to summon hope, storm, and stillness all at once. I felt like being a human got better after listening.

An Art Thing / Glass blowing wonders: Does glass blowing seem dangerous and amazing to you too?! Step into Sylcom’s world of Venetian glass chandeliers—where molten sand becomes luminous art. This quiet, mesmerizing video reveals the centuries-old craft behind each piece, offering a glimpse of beauty shaped by fire, breath, and time.

An unreal delicious lightroast coffee using Wilton Benitez’s thermal shock process—two rounds of fermentation, sterilization, and rinsing—plus all natural sugarcane EA decaffeination for vibrant flavor.
"I've tried several decafs and they were never able to reach the flavor of specialty coffees... I was shocked by the lovely flavor profile of this coffee. It's the first decaf I've drank and enjoyed fully black."
