Manager - Digital Analytics

About the Role

RSL Queensland is seeking a Manager – Digital Analytics to lead the strategic and technical management of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for its eCommerce website, which supports the Dream Home Art Union—Australia’s largest not-for-profit prize home lottery. This Brisbane-based role sits within the Digital Lotteries team and reports to the Senior Manager – eCommerce. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth, engagement, and operational efficiency through data-driven insights and experimentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership of the GA4 stack, including setup, configuration, and ongoing optimisation based on a robust measurement framework.
  • Expert-level GTM management, including dataLayer maintenance, custom event tracking, and regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Translating analytics into actionable insights using advanced GA4 segments, journey analysis, and dashboarding tools like Looker Studio.
  • Supporting experimentation by developing test hypotheses and success metrics for A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Enhancing attribution models and audience targeting through BigQuery/CDP integrations with platforms like Google and Meta.
  • Championing data governance and privacy through structured naming conventions, QA processes, and privacy-centric tagging.
