Now that June is underway, my calendar is filling up with beach weekends and poolside parties. I'm super excited, except for that whole "buying a bathing suit" part. Fortunately, I have a few stylists in my contacts who I hit up for on-trend picks for the season. They delivered with a bunch of unexpectedly flattering swimsuits I'm actually looking forward to wearing. Score! We also got the download on the coolest men's swim trunks, plus plush beach towels. Keep reading for more must-buys this weekend.

I spend my days cruising the web for great products at great prices. I'm usually pretty good at resisting the temptation to purchase everything I see, but some things are just too compelling to pass up. Here's what I opened my wallet for this week: |
-
Work pants for warm days: I love my jeans, but the heat and humidity make them a big no-no when I'm commuting to the office. Instead, I'm wearing these flowy linen-blend pants that look polished but feel breezy and effortless. I can dress them up with a button-front top or keep 'em casual with a classic white tee.
-
Stylish sun blocker: The older I get, the worse I burn when I'm out in the sun for too long. I bought this tres chic sun hat last year and loved it so much that I knew I wanted a new one for this summer. It comes in a few different brim sizes depending on how much coverage you're looking for, and the inside is adjustable.
-
Slip-on-and-go slides: Some days I can't be bothered to bend over and lace up sneakers, which is why these simple, versatile sandals were a no-brainer. I can wear them with dresses, shorts and pants, and they're comfortable and supportive enough for long walks. Currently considering a second pair in another color…

Yahoo shopping pros are always on the hunt for the latest and greatest. Recently, they've been hard at work testing summer essentials. Here are four that should be on your radar now that warm weather is here. (Bonus: They're all $30 or less!) |
-
Best summer dress: Whether you need a fab frock for a summer wedding or a casual get-up for an impromptu lunch with friends, try this loose-fitting maxi dress that comes in a bunch of pretty prints and patterns. Shopping Editor Julia Webb shares, "I love the comfy smocked bodice and fluttery tiered hem that gives the skirt great movement when I walk. I also appreciate that you can make the straps longer or shorter."
-
Best razor: Senior Beauty Writer Marie Lodi put a bunch of razors to the test in preparation for legs-out season, and this $10 steal came out on top. "If there's one razor I'd hand to literally anyone, whether they're a first-time shaver or a seasoned hairless goddess, it's this one," Lodi says.
-
Best ice cream scoop: There's no better way to cool down on a hot afternoon than with a bowl of cold, creamy goodness. "This top-rated scoop made easy work of piercing hard-frozen pints of ice cream with its pointier scoop head. This shape also gets into the corners of a round container better than some others I tried," Senior Home Writer Lisa Schweitzer writes.
-
Best sunscreen: If you're looking for affordable, reliable UV protection, Senior Beauty Editor Jennifer Romolini says this wallet-friendly spray is a worthy buy. "This spray protected me from any hint of sunburn for a full seven days, even after several hours in the pool," she reveals.
