You know how it goes — you head out for a weekend away and at some point everyone ends up asking, “so… what do we do now?”
Watching TV or replaying the same card game for the hundredth time only goes so far. That’s why I’ve gotten into the habit of always bringing a couple games with me. They’ve saved more trips than I can count.
Here are my go-tos:
Cornhole Boards – If there’s any outdoor space at all, these come out first. Every age jumps in, and suddenly everyone wants “one more round.” We’ve had whole afternoons disappear this way.
The Change Game– My backup for tight spaces. Easy to carry and perfect for restaurants, gatherings, or downtime between plans. Kids especially lock right into it.
Giant Tumbling Timbers – The crowd favorite. If there’s room in the trunk, it’s coming. Kids love it, adults love it, and it turns a rainy day into the highlight of the trip.
We’ve got these and plenty more at YardGames.com — worth a look before your next getaway.

Kevin
