A TESTAMENT TO JAPANESE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our newly unveiled Kogei Collection Japanese Kimono Edition joins The House of Suntory’s legacy of craft and innovation. Bearing the name “Kogei”, meaning “traditional Japanese craft”, this line encapsulates Japanese artistry—a dedication to process, beauty, and creativity. Exclusively available at travel retail destinations, this blend is the result of meticulous exploration, with a harmonious fusion of peated malt and Spanish oak.
Honoring timeless artistry and tradition, our partnership with Chiso—Kyoto's preeminent Kimono House since 1555—was a natural choice. Harnessing the long-standing method of gradation dyeing, Chiso's master artisans imbue the story of The House of Suntory and these unique Yamazaki and Hakushu whiskies into our limited-edition bottles. Go behind the scenes to see the craftsmanship.
Mirroring the lush Japanese Southern Alps that surround the Hakushu distillery, this limited-edition bottle features silver stamps evoking forest clouds and threads reminiscent of kimonos.
Our packaging features intricate prints inspired by the serene Yamazaki distillery, with the depiction of three merging rivers evoking a sense of calm. Gold stamps add a touch of elegance, reminiscent of drifting clouds.
