How we research our comparisons.
We make Email Love, so we are not neutral. These pages are written so you can check them: here is where every competitor fact comes from, how we date it, and how to report something out of date.
Where competitor facts come from.
Every claim about another product comes from that company’s own public material: product documentation, help centers, pricing pages, release notes, and public product announcements.
When a claim depends on documentation, we say so, for example “according to Knak’s help docs”. When we cannot find something, we say we could not find it as of the date we checked, instead of saying the product does not have it.
How we describe Email Love.
Claims about Email Love come from our live product pages and our help center. We do not claim advantages that competitors share, and every comparison lists the cases where the other tool is the better choice.
How we use review sites.
Where we mention review-site sentiment, from G2 or Capterra, we attribute it to the site and summarize themes that appear across many reviews. We do not use individual reviews to make a point about a competitor.
How we handle pricing.
We quote published prices as the vendor lists them, with the month we checked. When a vendor does not publish pricing, we say it is a custom quote instead of estimating.
Dates and refreshes.
Every comparison shows the month its competitor details were checked. We review the pages every quarter, and page titles carry the year.
How to report a correction.
If something is wrong or out of date, email [email protected] with a link to the source. We check it, correct the page, and update the date.
Check us with your own AI.
Every comparison ends with a prompt you can run in ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity. It asks the assistant to check our claims against each vendor’s own documentation and current pricing, and not to rely on our pages alone.
