Email Love vs Migma, for teams that design emails in Figma.

Migma is an AI platform that writes, designs, and sends marketing emails from a prompt. Email Love is a Figma plugin where AI builds emails from your own email design system. This page explains where each one fits.

What is the biggest difference between Email Love and Migma?

Migma’s AI generates its own layouts from a brand kit built from your website, then sends the email itself. Email Love’s AI builds emails from the components your designers made in Figma, so the output follows your design system, and you send through the ESP you already use.

Where they differ.

01

Where does the design come from?

Migma builds a brand kit from your website, with your logos, colors, and fonts, and generates its own layouts from it. You can import a Figma frame by URL, but it is converted into Migma’s HTML, and its docs do not describe a way to use your Figma component library as building blocks.

Email Love starts from an email design system in Figma. Designers build the components, and AI assembles emails only from those components, fonts, and colors, so the output matches your design system. The trade-off is that you need a design system in Figma, or our help building one.

02

Can I bring my existing emails with me?

Migma can import a single Figma frame by URL and convert it into its own HTML. Its docs do not describe bringing in a library of existing emails.

Email Love also uses its own format, but you do not have to rebuild your existing emails by hand before you start. AI Import converts a screenshot, an image, or an existing Figma design into an editable Email Love frame, and it is included on every plan. For a full library, an AI-assisted workflow in Claude or Codex audits your repeated modules and builds a reusable design system. On Growth and Professional plans, Concierge Migration is free: our team builds your email design system and rebuilds up to 5 of your templates.

03

Who builds the campaigns?

In Migma, marketers write a prompt, edit the result, and send it from Migma. Around that, it covers email series from one prompt, image and GIF generation, segmentation, a marketing calendar, and competitor tracking, with a remote MCP server, a Claude connector, and an API for agents.

Email Love covers more of the production workflow. Designers maintain the approved components in Figma. Each component is mapped into Email Love Builder, where marketers build campaigns in a drag-and-drop editor without opening Figma, and the finished email goes to your ESP. Email Love Builder comes with Enterprise, which is a custom quote.

04

Sending and ESP integrations

Migma describes itself as an AI-native ESP. It can send email itself, from its own address or your domain, or through Amazon SES, Resend, SendGrid, or Mailgun, and it exports templates to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Omnisend, Brevo, and HubSpot.

Email Love does not send email. It exports to the platform you already use: 28 platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Customer.io, plus HTML and MJML.

Email Love goes deeper into the platforms it supports. It exports Braze and MoEngage content blocks, Iterable snippets and multi-locale templates, Salesforce Marketing Cloud content blocks, and editable Customer.io drafts. With updatable templates, a re-export updates the existing template in your ESP instead of creating a copy. Localization tags work with Braze and Smartling, or Iterable and Lokalise, and Email Love’s AI skills for ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude Code write the personalization syntax for 10 ESPs, including Braze Liquid, Iterable Handlebars, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud AMPscript.

05

Your brand changes the button radius. What happens next?

Say your brand changes the primary button from a 6px corner radius to 12px. Migma generates layouts from a brand kit built from your website, and its docs do not describe a connection to your Figma components, so the new button has to be set up in Migma as well as in Figma.

In Email Love, the button is a component in your email design system in Figma, so the change updates every email that uses it in Figma. With updatable templates on, re-exporting an email updates the existing template in your ESP instead of creating a copy. If your marketers use Email Love Builder, a re-sync brings the new button to every template that uses it.

Questions, answered.

Is Email Love a good Migma alternative?

Can Email Love send emails?

No. Email Love exports to your ESP. Migma can send emails itself.

How much does Migma cost?

Migma Premium is $99.99 a month ($79 billed yearly), Business is $299 a month ($229 billed yearly), and Enterprise is a custom quote.
