Twilio SendGrid is an email delivery platform for transactional and marketing email. The Email Love Figma plugin connects to your SendGrid account by API and exports the email you designed in Figma as a dynamic template.

What it does
- Creates a dynamic template with an active version, named after the Figma frame.
- Updates the template’s active version when you export again with Enable Updatable Templates turned on, and keeps the template ID.
- Lets you use the template in a Single Send, or send it from your app by template ID.
How to export from Figma to SendGrid
In SendGrid, open Settings > API Keys and create a key with full access or Template Engine access. SendGrid shows it only once.
In the plugin, choose SendGrid, paste the key, name it and click Set API Key.
Turn on Enable Updatable Templates if you want later exports to update the same template.
Select your email frame and click Export.
Find the template in SendGrid under Email API > Dynamic Templates.
Email Love Builder and SendGrid
Email Love Builder exports to SendGrid too. Your marketers build emails from your approved components in the drag-and-drop editor, without opening Figma, and export them to the same SendGrid account.
Each component in the Builder is mapped to its Figma component, so your designers update it in Figma and re-sync it. See Email Love Builder.
