How each plugin works in Figma

Marka converts the frame you select into HTML. It can work with frames you already have, as long as they follow its structure: its docs say the plugin cannot make a correct template from any frame, and nested layers need to be laid out vertically or horizontally. You can add layer tags, such as #button or #href, to control buttons and links. Each export is a one-time conversion, so after you change the design, you export it again.

Email Love works from an email design system in Figma. You build reusable components, with Auto Layout, Variants, and properties, in the plugin’s layered format, and every email uses them. Email Love does not work straight away with designs built outside the plugin: you can rebuild them with the plugin’s components, convert them with AI Import, or have us migrate them for you.

The difference shows up over time. With Marka, each email is designed and exported on its own. With Email Love, you change a component such as a footer once, re-sync, and it updates across every template.

ESP integrations

Marka exports directly to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Postmark, SendGrid, and Brevo, and gives you an HTML file or ZIP for any other platform.

Email Love exports to 28 platforms. It sends emails directly to 24 of them through their APIs, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, and Customer.io, and creates import-ready files for Loops, Parcel, Shopify, and Dotdigital. It also exports HTML and MJML for any other platform, and can send to Zapier, Make, or any webhook. If you send through one of the larger lifecycle platforms, check that it is on the list for the plugin you choose.

AI features

Marka does not advertise any AI features.

Email Love includes AI Import, which converts existing designs into the plugin’s format, and can generate an email from a brief using your own components. With MCP access, agents like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor can build emails from your design system. Limits depend on your plan.

Pricing

Marka publishes its pricing. The free plan includes 15 exports in total, not per month. Pro is $36 a month or $360 a year per user, with unlimited exports, and the Team plan is $92 a month or $960 a year for up to 5 users. Marka also offers a paid design service, from $199 for one email.

The Email Love Figma plugin has published pricing. It is free to start, with 5 HTML exports a month. Starter is $19 per user a month with 10 exports, Growth is $59 per user a month with unlimited exports and 5 shared design systems, and Professional is $1,788 per user a year for teams of three or more. Concierge Migration is free on Growth and Professional. If you only need unlimited exports for one designer, Marka Pro costs less than our Growth plan.
