Email Love vs Marka, for teams that design emails in Figma.

Marka converts the frame you select into HTML, so it can work with frames you already have, as long as they follow its structure. Its docs say the plugin cannot make a correct template from any frame, and nested layers need to be laid out vertically or horizontally. Layer tags such as #button or #href control buttons and links.

Email Love also uses its own format, but you do not have to rebuild your existing emails by hand before you start. AI Import converts a screenshot, an image, or an existing Figma design into an editable Email Love frame, and it is included on every plan. Marka is a Figma exporter: each email is designed in Figma, then exported as HTML or sent to your ESP. We could not find a separate editor for marketers as of September 2026.

Email Love covers more of the production workflow. Designers maintain the approved components in Figma. Each component is mapped into Email Love Builder, where marketers build campaigns in a drag-and-drop editor without opening Figma, and the finished email goes to your ESP. Email Love Builder comes with Enterprise, which is a custom quote.

Marka has been on Figma Community since 2019 and has more than 69,000 users. It is built by an independent developer, who also offers a paid design service, from $199 for one email.

Email Love builds only email tools: the Figma plugin, Email Love Builder, and the Email Love inspiration gallery. Support comes from email specialists, with dedicated Slack support on Professional, and Concierge Migration is free on Growth and Professional.

Marka exports directly to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Postmark, SendGrid, and Brevo, and gives you an HTML file or ZIP for any other platform. We could not find platform-specific features beyond the export as of September 2026.

Email Love goes deeper into the platforms it supports. It exports Braze and MoEngage content blocks, Iterable snippets and multi-locale templates, Salesforce Marketing Cloud content blocks, and editable Customer.io drafts. With updatable templates, a re-export updates the existing template in your ESP instead of creating a copy. Localization tags work with Braze and Smartling, or Iterable and Lokalise, and Email Love’s AI skills for ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude Code write the personalization syntax for 10 ESPs, including Braze Liquid, Iterable Handlebars, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud AMPscript.

Say your brand changes the primary button from a 6px corner radius to 12px. In Marka, the button is part of your Figma design, so the change is made in Figma, and each email that uses it is exported again.

In Email Love, the button is a component in your email design system in Figma, so the change updates every email that uses it in Figma. With updatable templates on, re-exporting an email updates the existing template in your ESP instead of creating a copy. If your marketers use Email Love Builder, a re-sync brings the new button to every template that uses it.

Marka publishes its pricing. The free plan includes 15 exports in total, not per month. Pro is $36 a month or $360 a year per user, with unlimited exports, and the Team plan is $92 a month or $960 a year for up to 5 users. Marka also offers a paid design service, from $199 for one email.

The Email Love Figma plugin has published pricing. It is free to start, with 5 HTML exports a month. Starter is $19 per user a month with 10 exports, Growth is $59 per user a month with unlimited exports and 5 shared design systems, and Professional is $1,788 per user a year for teams of three or more. Concierge Migration is free on Growth and Professional. If you only need unlimited exports for one designer, Marka Pro costs less than our Growth plan.
