Overview
ActiveCampaign is a marketing automation platform for email and customer journeys. The Email Love Figma plugin connects to your account by API and exports the email you designed in Figma as a template, named after the Figma frame.

What it does
- Creates a template in your ActiveCampaign template library, named after the Figma frame.
- Updates the same template when you export again with Enable Updatable Templates turned on. If the update fails, the plugin creates a new template instead.
- Keeps your unsubscribe link working with ActiveCampaign’s sending.
How to export from Figma to ActiveCampaign
In ActiveCampaign, open Settings > Developer and copy your API URL and API key.
In the plugin, choose ActiveCampaign, paste both, name the connection and click Set API Key.
Turn on Enable Updatable Templates if you want later exports to update the same template.
Select your email frame and click Export.
Find the template in ActiveCampaign under Campaigns > Manage templates.
Email Love Builder and ActiveCampaign
Email Love Builder exports to ActiveCampaign too. Your marketers build emails from your approved components in the drag-and-drop editor, without opening Figma, and export them to the same ActiveCampaign account.
Each component in the Builder is mapped to its Figma component, so your designers update it in Figma and re-sync it. See Email Love Builder.
Good to know
- You need both the API URL for your account and the API key.
