Klaviyo is a marketing platform for email and SMS, used by many ecommerce brands. The Email Love Figma plugin connects to your Klaviyo account and exports the email you designed in Figma as an HTML template in your template library.

What it does
- Creates an HTML template at the top of your Klaviyo template list.
- Connects with Klaviyo sign-in, or with a private API key. Agencies can save several keys.
- Converts your unsubscribe link to
{% unsubscribe_link %}, and links the word “preferences” to Klaviyo’s preference center. - Keeps Liquid in Code components, such as
{{ event.product_title }}, for dynamic content in flows.
How to export from Figma to Klaviyo
In the plugin, choose Klaviyo (OAuth) and click Connect with Klaviyo. Or create a private API key with full access in Klaviyo and choose Klaviyo (HTML Only).
Select your email frame and click Export.
Find the template in Klaviyo under Content > Templates.
Use it in a campaign from Email Saved, or in a flow email.
Email Love Builder and Klaviyo
Email Love Builder exports to Klaviyo too. Your marketers build emails from your approved components in the drag-and-drop editor, without opening Figma, and export them to the same Klaviyo account.
Each component in the Builder is mapped to its Figma component, so your designers update it in Figma and re-sync it. See Email Love Builder.
Good to know
- Templates are HTML only, so you cannot edit them in Klaviyo’s drag-and-drop editor.
- Every export creates a new template, so delete old versions when you no longer need them.
- Liquid dynamic content only renders when the email is sent from a campaign or flow with event data.
