Mailchimp is an email marketing platform, part of Intuit. The Email Love Figma plugin connects to your Mailchimp account by API and exports the email you designed in Figma as a saved template.

What it does
- Creates a saved template in Mailchimp, named after the Figma frame and the export date.
- Converts your unsubscribe link to Mailchimp’s
*|UNSUB|*tag. - Removes Google Fonts import rules, which Mailchimp does not support, so text uses your fallback fonts.
- Saves several API keys, so you can switch between Mailchimp accounts.
How to export from Figma to Mailchimp
Get your Mailchimp API key.
In the plugin, choose Mailchimp, paste the whole key, including the part after the last hyphen, name it and click Set API Key.
Select your email frame and click Export.
Find the template in Mailchimp under Campaigns > Email templates > Saved.

Email Love Builder exports to Mailchimp too. Your marketers build emails from your approved components in the drag-and-drop editor, without opening Figma, and export them to the same Mailchimp account.

- Mailchimp treats the export as a code template, not a drag-and-drop layout.
- Every export creates a new template, so delete old versions when you no longer need them.
- Add an Email Love Footer with an unsubscribe link before you export.
