Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, formerly Pardot, is Salesforce’s B2B marketing automation platform. The Email Love Figma plugin connects to your account by API and exports the email you designed in Figma as an email template.

What it does
- Creates an email template you can use in Engagement Studio programs and list emails.
- Updates the same template when you export again with Enable Updatable Templates turned on. With the toggle off, each export creates a new template.
How to export from Figma to Salesforce Pardot
Make sure your Salesforce org allows the OAuth username-password flow, and that you have a connected app.
In the plugin, choose Salesforce Pardot and enter your Salesforce domain, the consumer key and secret, your Business Unit ID, your username, and your password with your security token.
Name the connection and click Set API Key. Turn on Enable Updatable Templates if you need it.
Select your email frame and click Export. The template appears in your Pardot email templates.
Email Love Builder and Pardot
Email Love Builder exports to Pardot too. Your marketers build emails from your approved components in the drag-and-drop editor, without opening Figma, and export them to the same Pardot account.
Each component in the Builder is mapped to its Figma component, so your designers update it in Figma and re-sync it. See Email Love Builder.
Good to know
- Your Salesforce org must allow the OAuth username-password flow, which newer orgs often turn off.
- Add your security token to the end of your password, unless your IP address is on your org’s allow list.

Can I update a Pardot template after I export it?
Yes. Turn on Enable Updatable Templates and export the same Figma frame again. The plugin updates the template you exported before instead of creating a new one.
