Email Inspiration from Zight

The fastest way to onboard new users? Anticipate when they’ll need help—and send them a perfectly timed, super relevant email.

This email feels like it was born out of a common question users were having when they first started using Zight. So rather than live with that user frustration (and probably a boat-load of emails to customer support), share the solution to the issue in an email.

What this email tells me is that Zight cares about those first few experiences its’ users have with their app. They want the user to succeed. And they know all the quirks of their app on different operating systems.

I’m also fairly sure that I received this email because Zight knows I downloaded the Mac app. Great use of using data to make sure the email’s relevant.

Disclaimer: Zight own the rights to all content, images and design of this email. The above email has been featured on Email Love because I (Andy King) think it is a great reference to onboarding email design. So things don’t get messy on the email author’s end: I’ve stripped out all the email tracking pixels, campaign links and hosting all the images myself. Read more Email Love legal information.
